On December 10, 2024, in Kyiv at the Mariinsky Palace, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, ceremoniously awarded the National Prize of Ukraine named after Borys Paton for 2024 to the Head of the Department, Professor Mykola Vasylovych Kuhutyak for his work “Ukraine Soborna in the Struggle for State Independence 1917–1923.”
