On December 20, 2024, the Master’s Thesis Defense in the specialty 032 “History and Archaeology,” Educational Program “Ethnology,” took place. The examination committee worked with the following members: its chair, Prof. M.V. Kuhutyak, committee members Prof. O.S. Zhernokleyev, the guarantor Prof. P.L. Kostiuchok, and secretary H.K. Mykytiuk. The IA(E)-21m group, consisting of 14 master’s students, successfully defended their qualification papers despite an air raid alarm that interrupted the defense. Three students had to finish defending their works in the university’s shelter. Two of the theses were defended by masters currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending our country from the enemy at the front: Olha Shcherbiy and Bohdan Pavliv. We sincerely thank them and all our soldiers for enabling us to continue working in wartime conditions.
